Monday Morning Inspiration- Trust in the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

One of the greatest promises of scripture is that we will be directed by the Spirit if we will trust and lean not on our own wisdom.  The comfort in knowing that we have access to infinite knowledge, infinite wisdom, and infinite being is more than we could ever hope for.  However, the prerequisite to receiving direction from heaven is for you and me to trust in the Lord.

Trusting is a process and we build trust by spending time with God in the Spirit.  We also build Trust by reading stories of our faith she/he-roes in scripture who God led through difficult circumstances and into promising lands and lives of tremendous impact and meaning.

Begin your week off right by deciding to trust in the Lord.  Seek God’s voice through prayer.  Seek God’s wisdom through meditation and scripture.  Step out on what the Spirit is leading you to do and experience God’s best for our life as a result of you simply Trusting.
