Lessons From My Father: The Commitment Principle

Commitment is defined as the “state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.”  I also believe is when your mind, body, and soul agrees that a goal or outcome must be attained.  In other words, there are no other options except for the completion of the task.  Commitment is what all of our most successful people and stories possess.  It is when we are committed to a vision, a cause, or a project that we find meaning, purpose, happiness, and fulfillment.  Are you committed to something, and if so, when was the last time that you invested in that which you are committed to.  Recount stories of commitment in your life, and remember the joy of accomplishment.  All of our great spiritual teachers were committed to their spiritual potential, and we too are committed to Love and the full expression of our divinity within.
